The brief
Lexin, a leading online consumer finance platform in China, planned a partner conference as more than a showcase of financial tech capability. With a ‘Fintech and Future’ theme, discussions would turn toward forward-looking strategies and core data to cultivate strategic business cooperation.
Accordingly, Lexin selected Pico to provide event management service for the conference and ensure that all invited guests – including business partners, investors, leading government and industry figures, media representatives and Lexin staff members – would share a compellingly ‘futuristic experience’.
Creative execution
The team adapted technology and interconnection as their design concepts to create a futuristic setting for the venue, including the foyer, technologies display area and the main conference venue. One of the highlights was a unique ‘wormhole’ installation designed by the team greeted guests at the venue, compelling them ‘forward in time’ through a tunnel illuminated in blue-and-purple. Inside, an exciting dance performance kicked off a series of insightful speeches and programme of roundtable discussions. Attendees were then invited to join the banquet held at a garden of the venue, where they could enjoy the relaxing atmosphere with gourmet and live music performance.
